I began making short films and video productions at an early age. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, my love for film grew into areas such as scriptwriting, cinematography, directing/producing, and editing various projects.
After finishing high school, I went on to expand my knowledge in the industry by acquiring a DEC in Cinema/Video/Communications at Dawson College. I produced several pieces of work during my two years at Dawson, as well as earning several awards in editing and experimental video.
In 2015, I acquired a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies at Concordia University, while continuing to expand upon my passion and love for video production.
Along with the work produced in school, much of my experience in the video production industry has been learned through my own enterprises. Over the summer of 2013 I wrote, produced, directed, filmed and edited The Last of Us: Firefly Chronicles, a short film based on the video game with the same name. The film required a large amount of organization and planning, including finding actors, a make-up artist, assistance etc. The short has more than 100,000 views on YouTube and continues to grow.
With a keen eye for “cinema” quality, I thrive to learn how to master the art of production. Dubois Films was created in order to provide a solid service to artists, businesses, and others who want high production value. With an ever-growing need to be better and provide more for less, a variety of technical equipment is used. My goal and mission statement is to create a final product worth sharing.
