Working with Talent

Talent is one of the most important aspects of a production. Every piece of video content has to have a subject as focus, and talent is at the core of this value.

When I shoot my projects, I tend to have a main concern over aesthetics and the look of the moving image as a central concern. My camera ends up floating across the field of view, pulled in by the subjects actions and performances.

At Dubois Films, my goal is to capture what ever idea the talent stands for and attempts to portray. A video not only captures the aura of the subject, but adds upon and creates an image worth remembering.

It's important to remember that everyone has a different image in their minds of a final product, and the trick is to get as close to that image as possible. Productions not only require leadership, but teamwork as well. When the talent and producers create a connection, powerful results are achieved.
